I bought this in 2017. The compressor died in 2022. The ice maker died in 2023. The water stopped working in 2024. Today it started to buzz and has a weird chemical/metallic smell on all the food in the refrigerator and freezer. I paid 25% more for this model so it would fit in a smaller space. It has been the worst refrigerator I have ever own. Honestly you should be ashamed of how poor a product this.

Bought the refrigerator in November 2018 and it just stopped cooling on December 27, 2024. Working with LG together it repaired but it is now 1/09/2025 and it is still not repaired. There is a known issue with the compressor on this model

Bought this refrigerator in June 2017 and all of the sudden the week before Christmas it goes out. Lost all of the items in the freezer and almost everything in the refrigerator. Contact customer service and got the run around. The compressor is suppose to have a 10 year warranty but LG can not find a repair company in my area that's authorized to work on it. I was told to find someone myself but no one wants to touch it because it's under warranty. It's December 30th and still don't have a working refrigerator... it's been almost 2 weeks. I will never buy LG again!
