Do the buttons come off, yes they do. Lost one the first day on the chaise. Planned on buying a tufting needle anyway so nbd. The seating is shallow and I don't mind but my teens do for some reason. I like that the cushions don't come off so I won't have to readjust them everyday. So fo sitting this set is great, not so much for snugly lounging. It would be better for staging a room or a formal room but I like it for my main living room, it looks clean and refined even when surrounded by throws and remotes and dog toys. There are a ton of pillows with this set too. At this price, if I get a few years out of it I'll be happy. Delivery team was friendly and efficient.

I'm not not sure what my expectations were when I purchased this set. I was more so appealed to the price than the actual furniture since I just needed something to fill the empty space in my sitting room. However when this set was delivered I knew I made a great choice! It is so much more appealing to the eye up close than with the floor model in the store. My only complaint if any is that the set sits very high compared to your standard size coffee tables and end tables. A normal size 18-23 inch end table just isn't compatible with look or functionality.
