We loved our first one so much that we kept it for more than 20 years....crazy, I know. We decided to try to a different kind of mattress and went with a very top of the line, American-made pillow-top, small company, highly rated brand. It was quite comfortable and we really liked it...it EXCEPT we simply could not get used to the ugly, lumpy look of the sheets over the mattress. The tufts on the mattress surface were so deep that the sheets couldn't lay flat and the blanket couldn't hide the bumpiness either. Visually we just hated the look. So we went back to the sleek look of our trusty Tempurpedic. We love it. It feels "like home." My only minor issue is that, although it's medium for firmness, it feels firmer than I'd expect. I'm told this will ease up over time but it's been 8+ months and I'm not sensing any softening. Maybe it'll take a bit longer. But overall, love this product and its workmanship.

The mattress took a good bit of breaking in as it softened up, but now it is an "honest soft" that you can trust. The only issue is that rolling over on it while sleeping can be difficult because the space where your body is is soft and warm, but then trying to roll over onto a different space is comparatively hard and you have to sort of climb it, sort of uphill, until you're in the new space which eventually warms up and comforts out so to speak. Overall though the consistency of the tempurpedic material is very comfortable, noticeable quality comfort. It gives just the right amount.

The first year the bed was perfect. Over time both my husband noticed it was getting softer and my back issues started again. We wanted the firm model but the seller talked us out of it. We are sorry we didn't stick with our intuition. Still paying the bed off which is the hardest part.

For years I've struggled with quality sleep. Being a side sleeper, I would awaken with severe shoulder and neck pain along with hand numbness as much as several times a night. Often, I would have to get up and exercise my shoulder to relieve my symptoms. After just one week in this mattress, most of my symptoms a gone! The pressure relief from this mattress really works! As a bonus, my minor, nagging lumbar pain that I have lived with for years has also mostly disappeared. I highly recommend this mattress to anyone with orthopedic pain.

I'm a side sleeper at 230 pounds and got the LuxeAdapt Hybrid in July 2024. At first the mattress was comfortable, but literally one year later it has become unsupportive and compressed. I am dealing with constant hip and back pain and waking up throughout the night to shift positions because the mattress has no support and very little conforming feel - which I had in my old Tempur Contour Rhapsody mattress. In reading online, it seems that Sealy has cut corners and reduced the quality of the foam they use in Tempur-pedic mattresses, while jacking up the price. I can believe this based on my experience.

We are no longer experiencing back pain when we arise in the morning due to this mattress and adaptable base. There is also less tossing and turning during the night. We are finally getting a good night's sleep.
