After just two months there were deep divots in the "button" parts where my shoulders and hips hit. I sleep alone on my side and am 175 lbs. I suppose the bed is well made but this should not have happened. I tried sleeping on my back, but that's not a comfortable position for me. I'm also 77 yo, live alone and the idea of having to rotate the mattress every few months is ridiculous, as it weighs a ton! While this Stearns and Foster might have been made well, it should not have sunken in so far after just two months! I had to switch it out and am hoping for better luck. Products today are not made as well as in the past, and cost more. A very costly mistake on my part.

10 years ago, we decided to splurge and buy a "good mattress". It was a Stearns and Foster pillowtop firm mattress. It was the best mattress we ever bought. My daily back ache was resolved when we started sleeping on the new Stearns and Foster. We decided to move that wonderful S&F mattress to the guest room and shop for a new mattress. We only looked at Stearns and Foster and purchased a new Lux Estate Elite medium European pillowtop. We LOVE IT. It is worth every penny.

I purchased the estate 14.5 non pillow top to replace a 20-year-old Stearns and Foster Delmary model. after a short time I noticed there were body impressions on both sides of the mattress. I contacted Mattress Firm sent them pictures and measurements and they asked but denied the claim. I assumed that this mattress would have gave me the same or close to the same amount of years as previous model. but like they say things aren't made like they were in the past.... next time I will do my homework... disappointing considering I also bought the adjustable platform to make sure it had a stable and sturdy Foundation. They say body impressions are acceptable maybe after years of service but not within 3 months and the measurements they want don't even have any body weight on them how can that be accurate.

I'm writing this review out of complete frustration and disappointment with Stearns and Foster and their failure to stand behind what they market as a premium product. Roughly 9 months ago, I invested over $4,000 in a Stearns and Foster Lux Estate mattress, expecting top-tier quality and long-lasting durability. Sadly, the product has not lived up to those expectations. During a recent move to a new home, one of the mattress handles ripped off — something that should never happen with a so-called "luxury" mattress. This was not caused by misuse; it was clearly a defect in the product's construction. When I filed a warranty claim, I was shocked to learn that handles aren't covered under Stearns and Foster's warranty. Let that sink in...a part of the mattress that is essential for safely moving it is not even covered. That alone speaks volumes about how little confidence the manufacturer has in their own build quality. Hoping Stearns and Foster would take ownership, I reached out directly. Unfortunately, I was met with the same dismissive response I had already received from the retailer where I originally purchased the mattress through. Stearns and Foster refused to take accountability and passed the issue off to Mattress Firm's corporate warranty department — pushing responsibility back onto the seller instead of standing behind their own product. In the end, all I was offered was a 50% credit toward a replacement — meaning I'd have to spend another $2,000 just to fix a problem caused by poor craftsmanship. That's not a solution. That's a slap in the face to a paying customer. As someone with over a decade of experience in retail management, I know that companies can — and should — make exceptions when a product is clearly defective. Instead, Stearns and Foster chose to hide behind the fine print of the warranty policy rather than honor the premium image they promote. Telling a customer "we're sorry this happened" without actually doing anything meaningful to make it right is nothing more than empty PR talk. This was my FIRST and LAST time purchasing a Stearns and Foster product and I will actively discourage everyone I know from ever purchasing one of their products. A company that charges thousands for a mattress but doesn't stand by the basic integrity of its product is not a company I will ever support again. For anyone considering a Stearns and Foster mattress — BUYER BEWARE.

We purchased mattress in May of 2025. It is now the end of August 2025 and already the mattress is visibly sagging on both sides. We replaced our old mattress after 11 years of use and the new Stearns and Foster mattress is showing identical signs of wear after only 3 months. It is hot and does not sufficiently prevent motion transfer as it is described it will do. So on every count, this is an inferior mattress in every way but at a high end price. We will be returning it to the furniture store where we bought it. It does not live up to its advertising. We couldn't be more disappointed.

After years of waking to contend with my lower back pain as I get out of bed....something magical happened. After (literally) nite one on my new Stearns & Foster mattress, I just got out of bed and had the thought of something is different? Hmmm, what is it? No lower bck pain! Holy Smokes nothing, no pain, I just got out and on my way. This mattress did the trick for me and I should have done this change to a Stearns & Foster years ago. Great Mattress.

This was a very different purchase for us, as it is a split King adjustable bed frame combination. The mattresses are very comfortable, supportive and sleep "cool". We do not wake each other up anymore when turning or getting out of bed! The adjustable bed frame offers lumbar support, zero gravity, lights and more! Using Twin XL sheet sets with a King comforter and the adjustable base makes it easier to get those sheets on...😊

This is the best mattress I have ever slept on. It provides great support, while cushioning my joints. My Dad had a Stearns & Foster mattress. I slept on it one night and knew I wanted one when I grew up. I am aged 70 now and got the mattress a month ago. What a great investment! I love the blue color and side stability as well. What a great investment. This is my forever bed.

This is my 2nd S&F of this model. I gave this current one 2-1/2 months and it's filled with HOLES. Deep depressions on the pillow top. Since the merger, S&F quality has plummeted. They were once a premium mattress manufacturer. Imagine today that you can't even buy a good mattress for over $3k????? It's horrible and now I have to go back to the store to make a third selection. I'm beyond tired, in all ways.
