I have been searching a long time for a recliner that would be comfortable for a 5'3" person (ME.) This one is great because I can sit all the way back in the seat and still have my feet on the floor; others have a long seat designed for taller people and my legs poke forward into the air. I also like the handle because it is helpful for returning to the upright/non-reclining position, unlike those recliners with the little, round pull-out lever that require long, strong legs to get it upright. I also like the availabilty of pick-up delivery option, unlike other stores which REQUIRE it to be delivered to your home which increases the cost by $100. Instead, we went to the Westview VCF where two nice men put it in the car (SUV.) They were very helpful and patient with us two semi-confused old fogies. Thanks, guys! PS-- the chair comes in 2 parts which are easy to assemble; just slide the back in place along 2 tracks.

Comments about Clyde Manual Recliner

I love my recliner, however I ordered a brown and it's a lovely shade of grey. Keeping it because we picked it up ourselves and didn't want the hassle of bringing it back. The grey is pretty and Im happy with it. You guys need to get it together though.

We looked at several stores for a small, manual recliner, that would be a good fit for my wife. We haven't had the recliner too long but so far it has met all our needs.

For the money can't be beat

It's hard to recommend this chair when it creeks when you sit in it and/or rock right out of the box. I had to place a service request for a chair that I have owned for less than hour. Very disappointing. Also the 5 star sweepstake reviews of this chair seem disingenuous. Buy at your own risk.

The chair is very attractive. And very comfortable to set in. The color is very pretty. My back doesn't hurt anymore after I sit in it.
