Beautiful couch looks incredible in the space however the back cushions get smashed and are next to impossible to get back to their original shape. I was annoyed with this at first however I could look past it. The part I can't look past is at just over a year of owning it (no pets, no kids, just 2 adults) every seam is coming apart, and on seats we barely sit on. Even the throw pillows busted. Don't buy the warrant as it won't cover all they say it does. I won't even purchase anything from value city furniture again.

I have had this 5 pc sectional for almost 2 years and the seams on the cushions were already coming apart and the seat cushions are sinking in (do not hold their form) within the first year of owning it. Also, the fabric is low quality with threads coming out of the pillows and cushions. Additionally metal brackets stick out of the bottom, causing a serious safety hazard. Such a shame because this is so pretty in the store, but the price is not worth the quality you receive. If I could return it I would. Only purchase if you want this for decoration rather than seating.

I am completely disappointed in this product and wish I'd read the reviews before my purchase. I too have this sofa in a space in my home that's not used. I went to finally use the sofa and same issue, some of the pillows have come apart on the fabric and therefore can't be repaired. The fact that I have to try and find pillow covers and am unable to deal directly with the manufacturer (Value City is NO help) to get replacements is ridiculous. I will NOT purchase from Value City nor this manufacturer again!!!! And this is coming from someone who is currently renovating her home.

When we saw the sofa in the showroom, we loved it. It was very pretty and super comfortable. After a few months, however the material would not stay in place and the seams were not where they were supposed to be. Then the steams in the cushions started to split and fray. We paid extra for the warranty and I submitted a claim and they said that it wasn't covered. I have flipped the ripped seams over so you can't see them, but the truth is that we paid a ridiculous amount of money for such a cheaply made product. The back cushions also lose their shape and have ended up looking like squares instead of the rectangles that they are supposed to be. Hopefully, you have looked online at the reviews before purchasing this sofa, and you will think twice before spending your money on it. This is just super disappointing as we have bought furniture from American signature before and have always been happy, but this has been a total waste of money. It appears that they have gotten a new manufacturer to make this sofa, according to their response to all the negative reviews. Unfortunately, that does not help all of us who bought the sofa.

I was thrilled to buy this, especially on clearance. However, like the other 1stDibs reviews, the deans have unraveled on their own and the cushions go flat after about 30 minutes when sitting on the couch. This is the Anders Ivory chenille fabric, which has rightfully been been discontinued. The truth is, it is only a matter of time until this couch will end up in a landfill instead of my living room.

Do not buy this couch, I didn't read the reviews and regret it so much! This couch rips so easily from just sitting on it! All of the seams on the top cushions and pillows are fraying and ripping! The arm/side of the couch is made from cheap cardboard feeling material and broke and is flopping and unattached from couch! You can tell just by sitting/feeling that this couch is cheaply made but not cheaply priced.

This is hands down, the worst purchase that I've made from American Signature and I've been solely buying furniture from them (and Value City- all American Standard furniture) since 2005. Seams started ripping apart within a couple of months of having this. Mind you, for the first year, this couch was barely used. Even the pillows started ripping at the seams. I contacted American Signature about 6 months after purchasing because I was in disbelief that a $4k couch would look like it did with a 3 person family (no small children or pets). American Standard had their team come out and hand-sew together the cushions and pillows. The two gentlemen even took photos of the couch, stating this has been a common complaint with this particular style of couch. The hand-sewn "repair" lasted about a couple of months before the seams began ripping/tearing again, but even worse than before. I never write bad reviews but as a single parent on a budget, I feel like I've wasted $4,000.00 on a couch and urge anyone looking at buying this piece of crap to save their money! I've had the couch for 3 years now and it's current state is actually pretty embarrassing.

All of the cushions started tearing at the seams within a couple months. This is not covered under the warranty I paid extra for. The back cushions also lose their shape very easily and the seat cushions separate from each other and leave spaces between cushions making it uncomfortable to lay on. Do not buy this sectional.

The furniture has a MANUFACTURERS DEFECT!!!!!!!! SEAMS COMING APART AS SOON AS TWO MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE. DON'T BUY A WARRANTY!!!!! YOU WILL BE TOLD "NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR." BIG MONEY SPENT 4K

Bought in April of 2023 and cushions began ripping within months. Now a year later all cushions are ripped at seams and it looks terrible. Need to purchase covers for all cushions to hide the tears. Routine rotation makes no difference. Very poor quality material. Not worth the cost.
