I would really rather the furniture came assembled instead of using the "expert" handy man assembly. I can't tell if it's due to the quality of the product or the quality level of the Handy man's work, but the desk is terribly wobbly, especially when I'm writing or taking notes and have to erase a mistake. The cabinet door was also a little crooked on the hinges after assembly. I ordered a bookcase and the Shawburn dresser with 6 drawers, and the quality of their assembly, done by the same Handy man, wasn't top tier either. All furniture items were made of cheap looking material so the overall quality was probably due to a mixture of the cheap material and unprofessional assembly quality.
