The framing along the back of these chairs cuts off just short enough for the chair to be comfortable for wider hips, and still looks really stylish. The seat cushion is more firm and springy compared to the cushier floor model we tried, but that's no big deal for us.

These Carlisle chairs are everything with the table. The quality of each chair is outstanding. The entire set brings my dining room to life again!

I bought chairs to use with antique dining table, that I usually use for larger family functions. We tend to linger at the table after eating, chairs are very comfortable. Also have wiped up a couple of spots. They cleaned up nicely.
