Putting the frame together would go much more easily if the bolts, etc were labelled more obviously so you could tell the sizes apart quickly. The bes itself is gorgeous, though. So plush and pretty and soft, and such a lovely shade of pink that pairs well with my teal wall. The frame feels sturdy but not impossible to move around. I'm getting used to how low it is. As a short person, it does feel nice not having to climb into bed!

This is a good quality bed that's also super cute and pretty. I got this during the Black Friday sale, Queen size for about $750 plus tax. It's the Angela Bed from TOV Furniture and ships directly from the manufacturer so assembly isn't included. Assembly was straightforward and instructions were clear. It took me about 1.5 hours total getting it all up to my room and assembling. I was surprised at how cushiony the headboard and footboard were, the tufting effect is very deep and makes it high quality. There's no box spring required due to the wood slats. Be careful while handling the slats during assembly as the edges are raw and could give you a splinter. I was impressed at how the slats are held onto the frame (hook the last slats on each end behind a screw) since I've seen other beds that use Velcro to get the slats onto the frame (which isn't very sturdy in my opinion). There are middle supports legs in the middle of the bed which makes me feel more secure. I heard some creaking the first couple nights when sitting on the bed or even just shifting around. I removed my mattresses, tightened a few screws, and no more creaking! User error there. The bed has about 6 inches of clearance from the floor to the side rails. This tends to decrease when placing the bed on carpet since the bed sinks into the carpet. I just put some furniture sliders under all four outer legs to prevent this and make sure the legs don't damage my carpet as they are a bit pointy.
