Newly purchased not a right fit but no option to fix it

I was unable to find a local store where ai could sample varieties of the Tempurpedic pillows before purchase. The stores only had one or two varieties and not the ones I was looking at purchasing so I had to a take a risk. Unfortunately, Tempurpedic does not allow refunds or exchanges on their pill...ow products unless defective so although mine were not slept in as soona s I received them and realized that they were too high for me to sleep on comfortably and were way too heat retainer of a material to sleep on I was out of luck and the money. Definately not a right fit for me. I am a side sleeper, occasionally back sleeper and went with the Tempurpedic website recommendation for my sleeping style. I thought I had purchased the Tempurpedic pillows with a cooling feature of the Pro Adapt line with the new bed set I purchased, however, upon receipt, I realized that they are just regukar, not cooling feature pillows and they are way way to hot to sleep on. They are also very high for side and back sleeping, despite getting the mid pillows as recommended by Tempurpedic, causing me neck pain. They only seem to be good for use when I have the ergo base back elevated to lean back against for back support. When I sleep I have to throw them aside and use my old traditional pillows or a shallower, contour memory foam pillow by another company. very disappointed that there is no option to replace for a right fit for the consumers, especially since you cannot preview the pillows in stores. It makes me nervous and likely to not try another pillow purchase from Tempurpedic since I don't know if the guessing game will garner me a usable pillow. Ther shoukd be a return option for new pillows that a customer receives that are not a right fit. These are not cheap products and customers of Tempurpedic are making large investments in their products. They should help to ensure Customer satisfaction with all of their products not just their bed sets. I am a long term two decade fan of Tempurpedic beds and this was my first attempt to use Tempurpedic pillow products.
