Comments about Bianca Futon Sofa Bed:

I wanted a couch for my office. Most options out there look like they belong in a home living room. The Bianca caught my eye because it has a euro sophisticated look to it.

I don't really care that it's a futon. The padding is very firm and when the back lays down there is a large valley where the back and seat join. It might come in handy for a nap. Laying the back down will give me some extra elbow room but with that valley I'll still have to stay on the seat portion of the couch.

The couch came fully assembled which was nice (considering transportation wasn't a problem). On its side it made it through all the doorways. It's surprisingly light for how large it is. Based on that and what I can feel through the fabric I'm guessing that the framing is pretty minimal. I nudged it over a couple inches with my leg from the end and heard a little crack. I don't expect this futon would hold up well in a guy's dorm room. I'm sure one of the arms would break off after the third "flop".

The fabric seems like it will be durable and at least hide stains if it doesn't repel them. You can see how the center seat cusion wrinkles. I've only had this a few days and those wrinkles are always there. I can tease most of them out but that's annoying. The sample on the Value City floor had lots of threads pulled and fraying around the piping along the seat. I was suprised since their display model was up on a rack where it couldn't get much use. I'm going to keep an eye out for that. The salesman said that would be covered under the manufacurer waranty.

Overall I'm pleased with my purchase. I feel like I got what I paid for. It's a high end looking couch for cheap so I can't expect it to be made like a high end couch. If I get five or six years out of it I'll be happy.

Comments about Bianca Futon Sofa Bed:

I live in a small apartment and needed all new furniture for the place. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on living room furniture since I didn't plan to live there long. I decided on purchasing a futon and found the Bianca Futon Sofa at Value City. I love how it doesn't look so much like a futon but a classy sofa. The grey color is so nice and I like the flexibilty I have to add a different look anytime I want with decorative pillows.

As far as comfort, it's feels ok while lounging and watching TV for a few hours. I've tried to sleep on it overnight but find it a bit uncomfortable for my taste. But it's nice to know I can use it for when guests stay over on occassion. I plan to get a 2 to 3 inch memory foam I can lay over it to add more comfort whenever its used for sleeping.

Overall, I am happy with my purchase. I get lots of compliments for it by friends and family.
